The following entities are stakeholders in Power Finance's platform.

Power Finance

Acts as the token issuer and administrator of the smart contracts that govern $PWRd and $PWRs.

Liquidity Providers

Includes market makers that provide $PWRd liquidity on centralized and decentralized exchanges, and lenders offering credit across DeFi and CeFi venues.

Users

Users of $PWRd and $PWRs range from payment makers and leveraged traders to token holders using assets as collateral and long-only investors seeking value accrual.

Minting Platform

Operates the underlying stablecoin platform that mints and burns $PWRd, manages its base token, and coordinates with custodians during staking and redemption.

Reserves Custodian

Safeguards $PWRd reserves in bankruptcy-remote accounts and delivers assets to the Commodity Pool Operator when staking occurs.

Commodity Pool Operator (CPO)

Deploys staked reserves into regulated power and volatility derivatives, manages positions and liquidity, and unwinds trades during redemption.

Futures Commission Merchant (FCM)

Executes and clears trades made by the CPO, holds margin in segregated accounts, and manages collateral and risk requirements.

Futures Exchanges

Provide the regulated markets where power and volatility derivatives are listed and cleared, beginning with ICE and expanding to additional venues over time.
